How do I know if I'm ready to outsource my bookkeeping?

Can you file my taxes too?

Nope, but don't worry, we will team up with your favorite accountant when it's time to file. Your accountant usually takes a look at your books once in a while - either once every three months or once a year. We're more interested in what your business is doing day in and day out.

How do you price your services?

This is a tough one! Honestly, it depends on what you need. We've got a few services to choose from, and we tailor them to each client. Our monthly bookkeeping services have a fixed monthly rate, so you don't have to worry about any surprises when it's time to pay.

I've never outsourced my bookkeeping before. What's the process look like?

This can be broken down into three easy steps:

  1. Set Up - We'll help you get QuickBooks Online set up completely.

  2. Catch Up - We'll get you up to date for your current fiscal year by entering any missing transaction details and reconciling your books.

  3.  Staying Up-To-Date - Every month we'll take care of all the tedious bookkeeping tasks and chat with you via a private portal to clarify any questions we have. We'll never make guesses and always aim for precise and accurate books.

We will NEVER ask for bank account login information. Everything is securely imported from your bank to Quickbooks online automatically. 

What software will you use to do my bookkeeping?

We're all about QuickBooks Online when it comes to accounting software. We know our way around QuickBooks Desktop for both Windows and Macintosh, but for reoccurring monthly services, we stick to QuickBooks Online. If you're thinking about moving from desktop to online, we can point you in the right direction too.

What will you need from me at first?

To get you started with our services, we'll send you a list of documents and items that we need from you. We might also arrange a meeting to walk you through any additional setup. In the beginning, we'll be in touch quite often to make sure we understand your specific business needs. But don't worry, as we get to know your business better, we'll need less clarification.

Will you catch up my books from the beginning of the year?

One hundred percent, YES! Starting from the beginning of the fiscal year, which is usually January 1st, we make sure your books are precise and accurate! We always aim for precise and accurate books, because they make well-informed business owners.
